How Picture to Coloring Page treats the pictures and ideas you turn into coloring pages, and the bit of technical data the site needs to run.

Last updated: 2026-11-02

Picture to Coloring Page (picturetocoloringpage.org) makes printable coloring pages and craft patterns. Some tools send your picture or description to an AI model that draws black-and-white line art; others (name coloring pages, name tracing worksheets, the stencil maker and the bead pattern maker) do all their work inside your own browser. This policy walks through what each kind of tool touches, why, who else is involved and when it is deleted. "We", "us" and "our" mean the people who run picturetocoloringpage.org.

The short version

  • A picture or description you give an AI tool is used only to draw the coloring page you asked for. We don't sell it, publish it or use it to train AI models.
  • The browser tools never upload anything: the names you type and the photos you drop into them stay on your device.
  • To share out free coloring pages fairly, we store a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address and a device identifier, never the raw IP address.
  • There is no account to create. We only ask for an email address if you choose to join the waitlist for a tool that isn't finished yet.

Information you send us

Pictures for the AI tools. When you turn a photo into a coloring page (or a tattoo stencil), your browser first shrinks and compresses it, then uploads it to our storage so the AI model can read it. With it we receive the line style, detail level and other options you picked, and any description you type.

Descriptions for the AI generators. On the pages that draw a coloring page from words, we receive the text you type and the theme or style you chose.

Input to the browser tools. Names, fonts and worksheet settings, and photos you turn into stencils or bead patterns, are processed by your own browser and exported from there. Nothing is uploaded, so we never see them.

Waitlist email. A few tools or options aren't ready yet. If you choose one, a form offers to let you know when it works. If you fill it in, we store your email address, the page and option you chose, your answer to " What will you use it for?", and a salted, one-way hash of your IP address that helps us filter out automated spam. That address is used for that single notice only: it isn't verified, added to a newsletter or passed on.

Emails to us. If you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can answer.

What the site records on its own

  • Free allowance. A salted hash of your IP address, an identifier your browser works out from its own settings, and how many free AI coloring pages you have made. The browser identifier is also kept in your browser's local storage.
  • Generation records. Which AI tool and options were used, when, whether it worked, and links to the uploaded picture and the finished page.
  • Server logs. As with any website, our host handles your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and fend off attacks.
  • Visit counts. We measure traffic with Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you. We only see totals such as page views, countries and referring sites.

Cookies and local storage

We don't set cookies for visitors. Your browser's local storage holds the device identifier described above and whether you chose the light or dark theme. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes both.

Services that help us run the site

A handful of outside services do part of the work. Each one gets only what its job below needs:

  • Cloudflare — hosts the site and its database and stores photos you upload to the AI tools; like any web host it sees your IP address when you connect.
  • AI image model providers — receive your photo or description and the options you picked, run the model that draws your coloring page, and keep the result for a limited time so it can be downloaded.
  • Plausible Analytics — counts page visits with no cookies and without identifying you.

Apart from that, we disclose information only when the law requires it or when it is needed to stop fraud or keep people safe. We never sell personal information or share it for advertising.

How long things are kept

  • Uploaded pictures: kept in our storage only as long as the service needs them; email us and we delete yours.
  • Finished coloring pages: kept by the AI provider that drew them for a limited time so you can download them, then removed. Save or print the ones you want to keep.
  • Free allowance records: for as long as we offer free coloring pages; they hold no raw IP address.
  • Waitlist entries: until we've sent the notice for that tool, or until you ask us to remove yours, whichever comes first.

Your rights

Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, send you a copy, fix it or erase it, uploaded pictures included. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), the law may give you more rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Coloring pages are often made for children, but the site itself is meant to be used by adults and by teenagers aged 13 or older. A parent, guardian or teacher may upload a picture of a child they look after to turn it into a coloring page; please don't upload pictures of other people's children without their parent's permission. Children under 13 should not use the site on their own, and if we learn that one has sent us something, we delete it.

The waitlist is also only for people aged 13 or older; if we learn that a younger child has joined it, we delete the entry.

Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Uploads are checked to be real images before they are stored, and each is saved at a long random address that isn't listed anywhere. Anyone holding that address can open the file, so don't share result links you want kept private.

Where data is processed

Our host and AI providers run servers in several countries, so your data may be handled outside the country where you live.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects how your pictures are used, we will say so on the site before it takes effect.
